The
SLEEK
online
Design Process - Collaborative Web Development
After you purchase a
SLEEK
online
Website package, I will conduct an analysis of your business and
client base, the market(s) you serve, and, if applicable, the efficacy
of your current Website. Using this analysis, I will provide layout
and design recommendations and mock-ups for your review and input.
Incorporating your feedback, I will then create a new Website for your
business or redesign of your current site using my Web development
tools. These tools allow me to incorporate your current photos, logos
and marketing materials, and any new images from my library of over
1,000,000 graphics, animations, fonts and photos into your new site.
Key
Web Site Section & Pages
Most business websites
created by
SLEEK online
includes specific key sections and pages which form the underlying
foundation of a solid search engine optimized site. While my clients
may add additional sections to their Websites, the following four
areas are included as standard in every
SLEEK
online Website design: (1) Home Page; (2) Contact Us Page; (3)
Resource Links Page; and (4) F.A.Q. In addition, your Business logo
and other key branding, as well as office schedule information and a
site links appear in each individual Website page.
Home
Page:
A home page is the most important page of a Web site from a marketing
and search engine optimization standpoint. It is essential that it be
rich in text and includes links to other pages within the site.
A home page can also
include the following other key elements and content: Links to staff
pages, office information, news, featured articles and
Publications, Images of a logo and other key branding
Contact Us Page:
An online Contact page that invites
potential clients to contact
the business for more information.
Your Contact Us page may
also include the following elements and content: Provides telephone
numbers to the office including Fax E-mail contact links which is a
direct contact to the office. (special warnings regarding this
can be included) Form for contacting a general contact person that can
forward the information on to the correct person within the office
setting.
Resource
Links Page:
Each business should have a Links page
within their website that shows places that you are associated with or
get your information from. This is also a good place to provide links
to other business that you do business with or you have partnered with
in which they have a link on their site back to yours.
F.A.Q.:
Each business should have a list
of common questions that your customers/clients ask on a
frequent basis. This is a great place to list those questions
and provide the answer to those questions. Hopefully this will help
prevent someone from asking the common question if they have been to
your site.
Every business Website should contain
the following Administrative Pages:
Legal
Disclaimer
Privacy Policy
Terms of Use
(Administrative pages will not count
against your page count as they require no additional formatting or
graphics. Pages are all data. Another way of doing this is
by placing a brief statement at the bottom of each page.)
I recommend that your page at least
have a copyright statement at the bottom of every page within the
website, including any administrative pages.
Recommended Sections: The Website
sections detailed above are a necessary part of any successful
business Website. SLEEK
online Website packages also include access to
our online development tool which provides you with the flexibility to
add additional sections and pages - all focused on helping prospective
clients make the decision to contact and hire you.
